About Amisha Gunanayagam

Amisha Gunanayagam is the Training Assistant at RT Workplace Training & Consulting Inc. (“RTW”), supporting the coordination and delivery of the firms’s workplace training programs. She takes pride in helping ensure that participants and facilitators alike have a smooth, well-organized experience from start to finish, and brings a strong digital and creative toolkit to her work.

Behind the Scenes

Amisha is the person quietly making sure that everything works when a session is underway, most notably performing the small miracles that keep participants’ cameras and microphones cooperating during online courses, so that facilitators can focus on teaching and participants can focus on learning. She has an eagerness to learn and a willingness to jump right in that colleagues genuinely value; new tools, new challenges, and unfamiliar tasks are met with curiosity rather than hesitation. Whether she’s troubleshooting a tech hiccup mid-session or picking up something she’s never done before, Amisha brings a steady, can-do presence to the details that help each training run smoothly.

Background

Amisha graduated from Western University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media, Information & Technoculture. Before joining RTW, she gained experience in digital communications through a marketing internship and held customer service and administrative roles in healthcare, developing the organizational, communication, and project-coordination skills she draws on today. During her studies, she also took on leadership roles, including serving as Director of Media for the Western Real Estate Club.

Outside of work, Amisha enjoys creating digital content, exploring new cafés and restaurants, spending time with loved ones, and staying active. She values collaboration, reliability, and bringing a positive attitude to everything she does.
