About Samantha Gilbert

Samantha (“Sam”) Gilbert is the Marketing Director at RT Workplace Training & Consulting Inc. (“RTW”), where she leads the development and execution of the firm’s marketing and communications strategy in partnership with the President and Vice-President. She brings more than a decade of experience across graphic and digital design, project management, and marketing, as well as a creative sensibility that shapes how RTW presents itself to the world.

Naturally curious, Sam is drawn to understanding how things work, an instinct that has carried her career from design into UX, project management, marketing strategy, and emerging technology. She is known among colleagues for translating design, development, and marketing concepts into language that makes sense to people from any background, and for the care, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail she brings to her work.

Behind the Scenes

Sam helps shape how RTW shows up in the world. She leads the firm’s marketing strategy, digital communications, brand management, and industry partnerships, as well as the promotion of RTW’s training programs and consulting services, and the analytics, budgets, and systems that support it all. But her real gift is creative: give her a fully formed brief or an idea sketched on the back of a napkin, and it comes back as polished copy, clear messaging, and beautiful design. Colleagues regularly turn to her to translate marketing, design, and technical concepts into language everyone can follow, and she keeps a close eye on emerging trends so that everything RTW puts out stays fresh, relevant, and current. Around RTW, it’s not uncommon for a half-formed idea to find its way to Sam and come back as something people can see, understand, and connect with, and somehow she always makes it look easy. The Investigator Chronicles series is a recent example, which she helped conceive, develop, and bring together into a cohesive experience across content, creative, and production.

Background

Sam began her career as an in-house graphic designer at a print house before completing a postgraduate program in web design, where she expanded into UX and digital design. She went on to spend three years in an agency environment as a Digital Designer and Project Manager, designing websites, graphics, and mobile applications while managing projects and client relationships, with responsibilities that also extended to content and video production. Drawn to the focus and consistency of working closely with a single brand, she returned to an in-house role, joining the organization in 2019 as Marketing Coordinator & Creative Design Lead. She was promoted to Marketing Manager in 2023 and became Marketing Director in 2026.
